Lexcel accredited, multi-disciplinary law practice are looking for a paralegal for a permanent full-time role at their office in Feltham, Middlesex. The firm provides a range of legal services including Family, Crime, Private Client, Civil Litigation and Conveyancing. Although based primarily within the criminal law department, the successful applicant will be assisting the fee earners in other departments as needed.
Role involves:
·Opening files
·Liaising with clients on a regular basis
·Making telephone calls to book appointments
·Case preparation and completion of documents and applications under supervision
·Undertaking legal research as required
·Day to day assistance to the fee earners in the crime and other departments as needed
·Preparation of Court bundles
·General admin such as photocopying, scanning, filing and data entry
Skills/Qualifications required:
·A law degree and good academic
·At least 6 to 12 months general paralegal experience
·Any criminal law experience would be of benefit
·Police station accreditation a bonus but not essential
·Excellent communication skills
·Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
