Ealing based law firm have an opening for an experienced legal cashier to take over and manager the day-to-day running of the legal accounts. Firm specialise in crime, family and mental health law including legal aid. Applications welcomed from full or part-time candidates. Ideally, office based, the firm will consider hybrid working depending on the candidate.

Role involves:

• Day-to-day management of the accounts such as processing account transactions/payments
• Bank reconciliation
• Processing of invoices
• Preparation of monthly payroll
• Submission of VAT returns
• Responsibility for credit control
• Monitoring of cash flow
• Processing and administration of legal aid
• Apply awareness of Solicitor Accounting Rules to ensure compliance

Skills/Qualifications:

• Solid experience working as a legal cashier
• Firm knowledge of SRA accounting regulations
• Knowledge of legal aid procedures
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise work
